  • Extracorporeal Blood Ozone and Oxygenation (EBOO) is a sophisticated medical procedure designed to purify and oxygenate the blood outside the body. The process involves drawing blood from the patient, exposing it to a high concentration of ozone (O3), and then reintroducing it into the bloodstream. This process enriches the blood with oxygen, enhances its antioxidant capacity, and facilitates the removal of toxins, leading to improved cellular function and overall vitality.

  • During EBOO therapy, blood is drawn from the patient and passed through a specialized machine that filters the blood and infuses it with medical-grade ozone (O₃). The ozone reacts with the blood stimulating various biological processes, including improved oxygen delivery to tissues, detoxification and enhanced immune function. The ozonated blood is then reinfused back into the patient carrying the therapeutic effects of ozone throughout the body.

  • This all depends on the patient, their condition and disease processes. In general for most health conditions, it is recommended to do it once/week for 3-4 weeks, then as needed for continued improvement or longevity. 

  • The primary differences between IV ozone therapy and EBOO therapy lie in the procedure's complexity, the volume of blood treated, and the overall impact on the body. EBOO involves continuously drawing blood from the patient, passing it through a specialized machine that ozonates and oxygenates the blood, and then reinfusing it. The procedure treats a larger volume of blood in one session compared to IV Ozone Therapy, where a smaller amount of blood is removed, making it more intensive.

    While both IV ozone therapy and EBOO therapy involve the use of ozone to promote health, EBOO therapy is a more advanced and intensive procedure that treats a larger volume of blood, offering more systemic benefits. IV ozone therapy is simpler and more commonly used for general wellness, while EBOO is often reserved for more serious health conditions requiring a more robust treatment approach.

  • The treatment itself takes 1 hour. However, with the prep work to get started as well as the take-down after, you can expect a total of 1.5 hours. 

  • No, EBOO is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding mothers.

  • While EBOO is generally considered safe and well-tolerated, it is important to be aware of potential risks and side effects.  These can include:

    1. Ozone Sensitivity: Some individuals may be sensitive to ozone, leading to symptoms such as headaches, dizziness, or shortness of breath. It is crucial to consult with a healthcare provider before undergoing EBOO if you have any known sensitivities.

    2. Drop in blood sugar: The EBOO can drop your blood sugar, causing symptoms like nausea, shakiness, and anxiety. For this reason, it is important to eat a well balanced meal prior to your treatment. 

  • While EBOO level 1 is safe, effective, and an excellent therapy, EBOO level 2 is a step-up. EBOO S.A.F.E. (Simple Access Fluid Extraction, level 2) incorporates the Preventative Care & Human Optimization protocol. It uses a more potent and intensive filter and removes excess fluid/edema. 

  • Most patients report feeling very calm, peaceful, and at ease during the treatment. Afterwards, most patients feel a boost of energy and well-being. With each treatment, there is a cumulative effect as the body’s total toxic burden decreases, inflammation decreases, and infections are eradicated.
